"New owners Poor show"

This family run restaurant used to be a great & lovely place to dine with a large menu, great choices, delicious italian & english food & a good atmosphere. However it changed hands in June and was bought by the chef and a family friend. It has been redecorated by the new owners to a very poor standard, the decor is bland and all the lovely photos & italian paintings including wall plates have been removed.

The menu is stark, many of the former choices have been removed and the quality of cuisine is not as good, even though the new chef has a part share in the business.

It is a pity that the new owner has not consulted his customers and applied the age long proverb "If it aint broke, why try & fix it"...?

We will not be dining there anymore as we have found a much more pleasant Italian in Berkhamsted.
