Since buying an ageing narrowboat a number of years ago, Darren has carried out a variety of work for me including welding/plating, blacking, new inverter + batteries, new alternator and fixing the engine-start electrics - so it starts first time every time!

Darren's work is of a high standard and he takes the time to explain the work. Everything that he has done has been finished properly and is still working as it should. He's friendly, professional and always happy to offer advice.

He's not the cheapest, but nothing boat-related ever is, especially if you want it done properly. Highly recommended for any marine engineering work you need doing.

Cowroast Marine also sell a small range of chandlery items such as gas, coal, logs, Elsan Blue, etc., at reasonable prices, which is another big plus for me..
